DUI Risk Reduction Program in McDonough, GA

DUI, Alcohol or Drug Use Risk Reduction is an intervention program mandated by the state of Georgia for people convicted of Driving Under the Influence (DUI), possession of illegal drugs, underage possession of alcohol while operating a motor vehicle, or Boating Under the Influence (DUI). The Georgia Department of Driver Services has approved the Prime for Live Intervention Component as the accepted Risk Reduction Component to be used by all state certified DUI/Risk Reduction Schools. 

Georgia's Risk Reduction program consists of two components: the Assessment Component (NEEDS Assessment) and the Intervention Component. Students must complete both the Assessment and Intervention Components to receive a Certificate of Completion.Prior to enrolling in the 20-hour Risk Reduction program, a participant must take the Assessment Component comprised of 130 questions which center on the participants lifestyle. The Assessment may take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete and the cost is $100. 
After completing the Assessment, the participant then qualifies to enroll in the 20-hour classroom course called the DUI/Drug Class or Risk Reduction Program. On the final day of the 20-hour course, students will receive a Certificate of Completion.The reinstatement of the participant’s license hinges on the successful completion of this program. The fee for the 20-hour course is $355. Additionally, there is a required $20.00 course workbook fee.

The total cost to enroll in the DUI/Drug 20-hour Risk Reduction Program is $355.00 (Assessment $100, 20-hour Risk Reduction Program $235 and $20.00 workbook).  These fees are regulated and set by state law and are the same at all certified DUI/Drug Risk Reduction Schools.
